We work to minimise our impact on the environment and to conserve natural resources throughout our operations and our supply chain.

The Smith's Snackfood Company is committed to minimising the impact our business has on the environment with methods that are socially responsible, scientifically based and economically sound. To achieve this, we are concentrating efforts on water, energy, and waste minimisation – areas where we can make the biggest impact – and we're extending our outreach to our supply chain, including our agricultural partners.

We have rigorous companywide metrics to help us better understand and track our performance in these key areas and to benchmark ourselves against other PepsiCo snackfood plants around the world, to help drive continuous improvement.

As well as our own internal actions, we also endorse and participate in the National Packaging Covenant. This initiative provides added tools and new ideas to further our progress in Environmental Sustainability.
